Vipers SC qualify to the finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The venoms did play the second leg of their semifinal against Mbarara city FC today 17th May 2022 at the St Mary’s stadium, kitende after the first leg that was played at Kakyeka stadium, Mbarara and it ended 1-2 in favor of the venoms.

The venoms started today’s game with a high tempo by creating many chances but couldn’t find the back of the net and half time ended goalless.

In the 42nd minute, vipers’ striker Cesar Manzoki was stretched off pitch after a bad injury and replaced by Paul Mucureezi .

Just three minutes played in the second half of the game, Vipers’ captain Halid Lwaliwa broke the deadlock putting the venoms in the lead.

One minute to an hour mark, Milton karisa doubled the lead for the kitende based side with a superb goal. 

Just six minutes past an hour mark, striker Yunus sentamu scored a goal making it 3-0 for the hosts.

Youngster Bobosi Byaruhanga couldn’t miss registering his name on the score sheet after a great finish off Yunus Sentamu’s pass in the 90+3 minute.

Vipers SC comfortably makes it’s way to the stanbic Uganda cup final in a row.

Vipers SC will face a team in the final that will qualify between BUL FC and Booma FC as they will be playing their second leg of the semi finals tomorrow 18th May 2022 at the kyabazinga stadium, bugembe. The first leg ended 1-5 in favor of BUL FC
