StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have won the Stanbic Uganda Cup after edging FUFA Big League side Police FC 1-0 at the Akii Bua Stadium in Lira.

Milton Karisa broke the deadlock in the 16th minute with a brilliant header after a good delivery from Bright Anukani’s corner.

Police posed more threat to the venoms having had a lion’s share of possession and Herman Wasswa led the insurgency against the Wakiso based side.

Vipers have now won the Uganda Cup three times (2016, 2021 and 2023).
