Having sealed a victory in the 1st leg, they were pretty much guaranteed of a spot in the quarter finals.
The much anticipated clash began with Updf taking an early lead as the resolute Vunni guided the ball to the back of the net during the early proceedings of the match.
It was not long before Vipers regained their composure and eventually found a way back into the match.
This was mainly due to the individual brilliance of one Bobosi Byaruhanga who showed his quality as he swung the corner kick past former Vipers keeper Eric Kabowa that was left devastated .
This saw Vipers hold onto a draw hence guiding them to a 4:2 aggregate win over Updf.
This sees Vipers come closer to lifting the trophy that they last held in the 2015-16 season.
The Kitende outfits have made their intentions pretty clear to rivals,this has left a tense atmosphere among fans as they don’t know what to expect next.
Vipers will take on KCCA FC on Sunday 9th May.
