Waiswa Kenneth to play in the Zimbabwe National Premier League.
The former U-19 Uganda cricket skipper who also plays for the men’s National team side as an all rounder has earned a big opportunity to showcase his skills in the Zimbabwe premier league for the Takashinga side, one of the best cricket clubs in Zimbabwe to produce national team players for the country.
This chance comes at a time when the youngster is preparing for the fourth coming Challenge League B in Kampala this June and the ICC Global T20 World Cup in Zimbabwe this July that could earn Uganda a spot to the World Cup in Austria this October.
There has been a lot of good improvements in the cricket cranes side ever since Lawrence Mahatlane joined as the head coach and this must have been a big boost to earn Kenneth Waiswa an opportunity to play with the experienced players on the continent and this could open up his professional cricket career.
He will spend his next four weeks with Takashinga. The tournament is to scheduled to start on 24th apil 2022 and end on 25th may 2022.
