Having lost in the 2019 campaign at the hands of Lyon,Barcelona femeni have done it.
Barcelona waltzed past PSG in the semi finals to cement a place in the finals where they edged Chelsea.
The clinical nature of the Catalans in the first half saw them go into a comfortable 4-0 lead within 36 minutes.
Chelsea were masters of their own demise as they conceded an own goal with seconds after the match starting only later to see Barcelona awarded a penalty.
Melanie leupoiz’s own goal began Chelsea’s nightmare as Alexis Putellas made it two from the penalty spot as Aitiana Bonmati and Caroline Graham Hansen put the game far from chelsea’s reach.
This saw the Catalans win their first UEFA Women’s champions league trophy due to an impressive ,sleek and dynamic display.
Barcelona become the first team to win both the women’s and men’s Champions league trophy.
Chelsea has now lost two trophys in two days and are yet to take on Manchester City in the UEFA Champions league final.
