The accident occurred when Kalaba’s vehicle collided head-on with a heavy truck.
A former TP Mazembe star, Kalaba’s illustrious career included triumphs in the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and CAF Super Cup during his tenure with the DR Congolese side.
