Vipers SC is eyeing SC Villa’s current head coach, Dusan Stojanovic, as a potential candidate for the head coach role next season, according to reliable sources within the club.

The Venoms are closely monitoring Stojanovic’s situation with Villa amid reports suggesting that he may be released at the end of the season.

Stojanovic, who has made a significant impact at Villa, is seen by the Vipers’ hierarchy as the right choice to lead the team permanently in the upcoming season.

Reports indicate that Villa is considering terminating Stojanovic’s contract prematurely due to his high wages, rumored to be $5,000 per month, with plans to replace him with his deputy and Uganda U20 head coach, Morley Byekwaso.

In response, Vipers SC is reportedly willing to match Stojanovic’s salary to secure his signature. Stojanovic’s coaching career includes stints at various clubs, including OFK Beograd, FK Cularicki, and FC Krasnodar in Russia.

He holds a UEFA A license and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Studies from the University of Belgrade. His most recent roles include serving as a football coach at FK Rad and as an assistant head coach at the Zambia national team.
