AFRICA Men’s 7s 2023 : Uganda Sevens squad named.

The Uganda Sevens coach Tolbert Onyango has named his experienced 12 man squad ahead of the Africa Men’s Sevens cup.

The tournament which also serves as the Olympic 2024 Qualifiers will take place in Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club next week from 16-17th September 2023.

Out of the 22 players that were summoned for preparations early last month,only 12 have been named to tassel it out in Zimbabwe.

The 12 man squad will be captained by Ian Munyani and Vice Captained by Aaron Ofoyrowth.

The 12 man squad named :

Adrian Kasito ,Mubarak Wandera, Denis Etwau ,Shimwa Davis, Isaac Massa, William Nkore , Nobert Okeny, Philip Wokorach, Pius Ogena ,Alex Atulinda , Aaron Ofoyrwoth(VC), Ian Munyani (C)

Uganda will face the hosts Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso and Algeria in the group stage games on 16th September 2023 at the Harare Sports Club.

The Uganda Sevens are the defending champions of the Africa Men’s 7s.
