The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022 is scheduled to be held in Birmingham, England from 28 July to 8 August 2022.

Uganda Senior Women’s Netball Team, the She Cranes, have continued their preparations for the upcoming The 2022 Commonwealth Games by defeating a Men’s select side 83-70 today at Allen VR Stanley Pavilion Arena in Nakirebe. The She Cranes won 83-70.

This was their second buildup game against Men’s select. The team’s (She Cranes) first game was a closed door buildup game against the Men Select team at Nakirebe and She Cranes won the first game 64-59 and the afternoon session went 71 all.

The She Cranes defeated Men’s Select side 83-70.

The Common Wealth Games will kick off on 28 July to 8 August 2022. The She Cranes will travel on 20 July, eight days before the tournament commences.

Head Coach, Fred Mugerwa Kabale last week named his final 12-woman squad that will be travelling to Birmingham.
