German Express FC want to end their eight games winless streak when they visit Mbarara City in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

The Red eagles will take a trip to Mbarara to play the Ankole lions at Kakyeka Stadium this afternoon.
Express FC who are winless in seven league games will be looking to end their winless run against the Ankole lions who last won a game last December after a 3-2 win against Ondurapaka.
The Red Eagles who are currently 7th on the log with 32 points after 21 games want to turn their focus on the Startimes Premier league after a shock exit in the Stanbic Cup by rivals SC Villa afew days back.
“We’ve concluded our last training ahead of our away game against Mbarara City FC. Majorly we’ve been working on our finishing.”- Express FC Interim Manager James Odoch.
“We’ve been playing well and dominating but couldn’t finish so these past two days we’ve concentrated on scoring and i think if we score one or two goals we shall be able to win the game”. He added.
Mbarara City, sitting in the 15th place with 17 points in 21 games lost ten of their last eleven league fixtures away from home.
Sadick Sempigi’s men want to use their home advantage to get maximum points against the Red Eagles as they battle relegation.

Aheebwa Jasper returns after picking up a knock in their previous game at Kakyeka while the Ankole lions will be without the services of Jude Ssemugabi, Bamba Soulymane and Karim Ramathan are still sidelined due injury.
Express FC.
The Red Eagles will be without Murushid Juuko who’s still sidelined, Yaya Mahad, Erick Kambale and Abel Etrude are also not available for today’s game.
