Jinja SS, JIPRA  and Kiira College Butiki progress to the last 8 of the jinja secondary schools boys football competition.

Jinja SS humiliated honest hill school 10- 0 courtesy of braces by logono and Yusuf, each of Ochan Brian and kaliro James scored a goal and the rest of the goals were netted by other players. 

JIPRA netted 5-0 through efforts of Kalyowa Reagan with a hat trick and Edrine Mawelele Cavani with a superb brace.

While kiira college butiki qualified through on spot kicks of 7-6 after a one on one goal draw with hope community school.

“Am delighted with the performance and resilience put up by the boys and they are more hungry to lift the trophy” the Kiira college butiki coach, Sewaya Ismail Miti while talking to the media after the match. 

Quarter final matches (Wednesday, 23rd March 2022)

JINJA SS Shall face off Kakira SS at kakindu stadium and KO will be at 12:00PM.

Kiira College Butiki Will have to battle Jinja comprehensive SS  to fight for a spot in the semi finals at the kyabazinga stadium Bugembe, KO is 10: 00 AM.

Mpumudde Seed SS Will have to challenge JIPRA at the  kyabazinga stadium Bugembe at 12:00PM.

The teams that will qualify for semi finals will play matches at the kakindu stadium and Kyabazinga stadium and each will kick off at exactly 3:30PM. And then later the FINAL shall be played on Monday 28th March at Kakindu stadium.

Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) is the body in charge of this competition aimed at bringing up young talent in secondary schools.
