It all went goalless in both fixtures of match day 22 of the Uganda Premier League matches played on Saturday.

In Jinja, Gaddafi FC hosted Police FC and no one could break each other’s backline in a tight game at the Gaddafi Arena.

The visitors had better chances in the first half of the game with Frank Kalanda at fault missing some good open chances and also had an effort cleared off the line by defender Magumba Bakali.

Isaac Isinde with his experience put up an outstanding performance in the back line of Gaddafi that made it so hard for Police players to penetrate through to put the ball at the back of the net.

A point earned at the Arena takes Gaddafi’s tally to 27 after 22 games played in 8th position and Police goes to 24 points in 9th position of the table.

At Kavumba, UPDF FC played against struggling Soltilo Bright Stars that has gone 13 games with no win but managed to pick a point  after a goalless draw.

The point earned at kavumba leaves Paul Kiwanuka’s side suffering in relegation zone (14th) with 20 points while the UPDF side are 11th on the table of the league.

Action in the UPL continues  today on Sunday the 27th march 2022 with SC Villa travelling to Ndejje to play against URA at the vision Arena in Bombo.
