Uganda’s Female Boxer Nakimuli To Fight In Kinshasha, DR Congo

Uganda’s female boxer and Olympian Teddy Nakimuli will participate in an exhibition match during the International boxing Day celebrations on 27/08/2022 in Kinshasha, Congo.

The promising young boxer was invited by Africa Boxing Confederation (AfBC) to participate in the one day event through Uganda boxing Federation (UBF).

During the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham earlier this month, Namuli became the first female boxer to represent Uganda at the Commonwealth Games.

Namuli will be programmed to fight and will also participate in the prize money distribution ceremony.

She will be accompanied by UBF president Muhangi Moses and Mayanja Twaibu, the national team coach.

UBF president Muhangi said the federation will celebrate the international boxing day by having a special exhibition fight between boxing legends Abdu Tebazalwa and Adam Khassim during the 20th edition of the Uganda Boxing Champions League at the MTN Arena on August 27.
