Meet Benjamin Njathi: Rab Sports’ Newest F1 Esports Racer

In the fast-paced world of F1 Esports, Rab Sports has just announced their latest addition to the team, Benjamin Njathi. With a passion for racing and a drive to succeed, Benjamin is poised to make his mark on the virtual track. Q: Benjamin, can you tell us how you first became interested in esports racing?
Over the lockdown period, I found myself engrossed in various esports competitions online. The idea of competing at such a high level in gaming really caught my attention.

Q: What gaming and racing experience do you bring to the table?
I’ve played a plethora of racing games over the years, from WRC to Need for Speed and Grid Autosport. Eventually, I discovered the world of Formula 1 and fell in love with the intricacies of the sport.

Q: What motivated you to pursue a career in F1 Esports racing?
Racing has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve never had the opportunity to truly put my skills to the test. Joining F1 Esports seemed like the perfect chance to do just that.

Q: How do you prepare for competitive racing?
I spend a lot of time practicing on my console at home, familiarizing myself with the layouts of different circuits. Knowing the track like the back of your hand is crucial in this sport.

Q: How does it feel to join Rab Sports as their new F1 Esports Racer?
I’m incredibly grateful to Rab Sports for giving me this opportunity to represent them in the competition. My only goal now is to deliver results and make them proud.

I hope to win championships and help grow the sport to new heights of competitiveness.

It can be challenging, but when you’re passionate about something, you find a way to make it work. I carve out time each day to hone my skills and improve.

Q: What challenges have you faced on your journey to becoming a professional F1 Esports racer?
Getting into the competition was tough due to limited spots, but I’m grateful for the chance to showcase my abilities. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their passions in esports.

Q: What advice do you have for aspiring esports racers?
Keep pushing yourself and stay on top of your game. You never know when an opportunity might come your way.

Q: Aside from racing, do you have any other hobbies or interests?
I enjoy playing football and indulging in various other forms of gaming in my free time.
